FINALLY, i have a chance to blog now.

yes. i do admit that i was being anti-social for these few months.
because i needed time. for my family, and for myself.
spent time reading some books.
and my favourite book is When I was a kid, by Cheeming Boey.
you know you really love that book when you were having mixed feeling while reading it, you are all excited and cant wait to finish reading it but at the same time you keep telling yourself, no! and you were reading it like really slowly because you don't want to finish reading it too soon. arghhh! what a dilemma! >.<
anyway, i finished it. and i couldnt find book2! please please please do let me know if you know where to get it ok?
'to the forgotten child in all of us'.
i really think this is a book that everyone should have! i am gonna keep it and show the next generation so they would know about what kids in 80-90s do back then, when we didn't have Ipad/Iphone or whatever touch screen-thingy.
honestly, it's sad to see how technology destroys communication nowadays.
very often you'll see people sitting together but their focus is all on their smartphones.
'then what's the point of hanging out together when all you do is playing with your own phones?'
well, let's not get into serious discussion here.

finally, i wanted to go out. out of my house.
and i am really lucky to know you.
you are like my genie who grant all my wishes, no matter how random they are.
thanks for being there and pull me out of depression.
once the sight of beach and sea comes in, the word 'depression' just magically disappeared! yay! ^^

i finally made up my mind. decided to go to Popular to get 2 things.
a very last minute decision to buy the ticket for Richard Clayderman's live concert, which is on the next day.
thank god there are still tickets available.
and thanks to kad siswa, i got to buy it with student price, which is only rm153! cool! if not, the ticket minimum will cost about rm 291 upto about 900. yeah. it's that expensive.
this is the 1st time i am buying ticket for a concert. and i'm glad it's for Richard Clayderman. ;)
and my name was printed on the ticket! so cool! hahaha. excuse me for being so excited. but yay!



next, i asked for the book, When I was a kid, by Cheeming Boey, and they told me it's out of stock!
WHAT?!!! i was stunned for awhile. then i keep asking them when will new stock arrives, where else can i get the book etc... but they just told me it's out of stock everywhere. >.<
felt disappointed and sad but happy at the same time. great job Mr. Boey! ur books are all sold out in Kota Kinabalu, and they said, a lot of people are asking for it too! woo~!!! soooo proud of u!
anyway, i really hope there will be new stock reaching soon!

this day is definitely a night to remember, because it is the first time seeing Richard Clayderman in real world!
we were in the same ballroom, breathing in the same air!
the 1st time i see such a great talented pianist LIVE performances.
it was really amazing!
you said, 'My life, is like a love story, with the piano'.
indeed, it is the most romantic and touching love story.
it felt like u understand her so much. u know exactly how to touch her in the most gentle and beautiful way, and give birth to so many incredible love songs.
even after all these years, the passion that you have for her, never ceases. <3
love listening to you talking in French, even though i couldnt understand a thing.
and suddenly, i realized, playing piano is not about pressing the exact note in a perfect way, it is the feeling and soul that u gave to that song.
my favourite songs of the night would be: Coup de Coeur, Ballade pour Adeline, Titanic, You Raise Me Up.

for the past whole week, i was 'fighting' with my own hormone. well, to be exact, i was screwed by my own hormone. yea you are right. pms. some girls get easily irritated or angry, while i get depressed and sad every freaking time. (while i actually have nothing to be really depressed of)

after having a great buffet breakfast at the hotel we stayed, we left Paris for Switzerland.
i guess Lenka was smart, because she didn't want to tell us how long it was going to take to reach there(which was like, more than 9 hrs if i remembered correctly).
but it's worth it! all those feelings of tiredness/impatience disappeared once we saw the beauty of Swiss. we almost couldn't believe that there is such beautiful place on this earth.
如果不是亲眼看见，我都不敢相信这世界上还有这么美的地方~

really,  this place just leave you feeling amazed and speechless (because no words could be used to describe this!)

yes, please believe that this place truly exist! such a beautiful place! no editing of the photo was done, yet it still looks like a post card.

and our hotel is just beside the waterfall~!

the next day, we took a train to go to JungFrau. although it took us 1 and a half hour and cost us 145 swiss franc(= rm 509) per person to reach there, we really enjoyed the beautiful scenery on the way through.

whenever u hear bell sounds, it means cows are around~! ^^  p/s: look! there are beautiful waterfalls everywhere!

and finally, we were standing there, on the Top of Europe!!!



and this is definitely the 1st time i saw 雪山！(snow mountain)
but surprisingly, we didn't feel cold at all. duh, it's summer, what do you expect?
yup, you heard it correctly, snow mountain and summer, i used to think that it's impossible for them to co-exist, until i saw this place, which is why i called this place, 'the highest point of the unbelievable and miracle'. yeah i know it's lame. haha.

we were really excited about having some snow fun! (45 swiss franc/ RM 160 per person, and u can play as much as u can, flying fox, skiing etc).
toooooo bad we only have about 2 hours there.

and we started with this! and it was super fun~! we really enjoyed it very much!

YEAHHHH~!

then we tried skiing.
well, i would say, hooray for the courage to try!
wearing the ski boots itself took so long. and there was nobody to teach or guide us in our first skiing experience. except some kind tourists who gave us a little tips: let your feets parallel(H shape) to keep moving and make them A shape to stop.

it sounded pretty easy, but in fact, it was sooooooooo dam difficult!
at 1st it was quite smooth until after about few feets away, i lost balance and fell down.
from then, the disasters started.
sitting on the snow is urghhh...definitely NOT something pleasant. in fact it was painful. if you don't believe this, please take some ices and TRY sitting on it for few minutes. i am sure u will understand that type of pain i am talking about here.
that was not all yet. your butt is suffering from that cold pain, and u wanted so much to get up but u just cant. you tried very hard, used all the energy u have, have your bare palm contacting the ice to tried to support your body to stand up. and it was even more difficult with that stupid ski boots and the super long ski which makes it so difficult to stand up and move.
we spent most of the time struggling to stand up and then fall down again. and this cycle just kept repeating.
for the first time since my toddler period, that i am having difficulties to stand up. lol.
and so we were stuck, in the middle of the ski track, halfway on the mountain slope, feeling hopeless.

luckily, we still managed to walk down the slope. and the worst part was, we were a bit late and we have to run all the way back to the meeting point BEFORE OUR TRAIN LEAVES US. if we couldn't make it, we have to pay another few hundreds ringgit per person to buy another train ticket.
really, it was a nightmare. we ran with our exhausted body, and the extreme fear of missing the train, and we almost could not recognize the way out, and have to keep asking the people passing by for direction.
oh my gawd...

but thank god, we finally made it! when we reached the meeting point, the 3 of us were gasping there...the 1st time experience something like SOB shortness of breath...

it was definitely the most EXCITING experience in Europe!

i was really disappointed because we didn't get to play flying fox(which was the 1st thing on my list). T.T
but still, it was definitely a very memorable first ski and snow fun experience! =)

and there is one very important lesson that i have learnt,

It's not about never fall down,
It's about having the courage to fall down.
It's not about hoping that others could lend you a hand when u were miserable,
It's about learning how to stand up by yourself, and always believe that, YOU CAN. =)




No matter how bad the situation is, you will, eventually, find the way out. =)

well, where should i start for Paris?
actually Paris was the first city we visited during our Europe tour.
on our first evening, we explored the city on a guided coach tour, where we were shown the sights of the city by our tour leader, Lenka.
she brought us to a place where she said it is the best place to take picture with Eiffel Tower.
but too bad we only had 10-15minutes for pictures. =(



then we saw Sacré-Coeur, a Roman Catholic church, on top of the Montmartre hill.



from there, almost the whole of Paris city view were being captured by our retina!

so this is what the Paris city look like, from up there.  isn't is awesome?

then the next day was Paris free day! we were really excited about this!
we went back to the landmarks shown to us the day before, to take tons of photo.

i love Venice! and i have no idea why.
i have heard a lot of not-so-nice comment about Venice, some say it's old and dirty, some say it's smelly.
but i just... fall for it.
i guess that's exactly that kind of feeling when you fall in love.
no matter what others have said, once you fall for it, you ll just see nothing else anymore. haha.
i could only say, i found that 'click' with Venice. ;)



our tour guide, Lenka, brought us to visit a mask shop, and the shop owner briefly told us about the history and origin of mask. (too bad now i have already forgotten most about it). i heard it was something like,
'The masks are typically worn during the Carnival (Carnival of Venice), but have been used on many other occasions in the past, usually as a device for hiding the wearer's identity and social status. The mask would permit the wearer to act more freely in cases where he or she wanted to interact with other members of the society outside the bounds of identity and everyday convention.' (thanks to google =P)
these distinctive masks were formed from paper-mache and wildly decorated with fur, fabric, gems, or feathers. and they are really very beautiful~~~ <3 <3 <3

i have a feeling, this is gonna be a longggggggggggggg post. haha.
finally graduated from AIMST University. completed a 5-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery course.
my convocation was on 12th October 2013. a day to be remembered for the rest of my life.

10th Oct - we had a small gathering with Prof. Comfort and Dr. Robinson from UK. it was really nice to get to meet them again and had a chance to talk to them, like friends. Prof Comfort said, now i don't see u as students anymore, i see u as colleague. fuyohh... bangga-nya... hahaha!
thanks for sharing all the advises and experiences, and they even brought us some books! how nice of them!
we are really lucky to have them. =) especially Prof Comfort who planned all our academic calenders for all these years, it's amazing how she managed to do that! and she fought so hard just to let us have our annual handbook. now that she has left aimst, our juniors dont get to have handbook anymore. how sad. and that made us feel even more lucky to have them. and we really appreciate it!

11th Oct -
collected our robe and mortal board at 10am. paid rm450 just to rent the robe for 2 days. had to return it by 4pm on the nx day. =.= luckily that still includes 1 solo pic plus 1 shaking hand with Dato' Seri Dr. Samy Vellu.
then had lunch with mama & popo at aimst cafe. one last meal in aimst. since i am not hosteller anymore, we had to pay for the food. around rm 5.60 for 1 fried chicken drumstick, vege, and fishballs.
rehersal at 2.30pm. practice walking on stage. lol.
oath taking ceremony at 4.30pm. lead by Siew peng.



took graduation photos in Diva Bridal Studio with family. dam expensive too. good thing is the boss is vy friendly, and she knew i ll fly bk sabah on sunday, so she rushed to give us the pic by Saturday.
rm 288 for 1 10R pic with frame, 5 4R pics(5pose), and my make up.
rm 100 for buying soft copy of those pics.
rm 10 each for additional pose. (6 extras)
total rm 450.
but it's once in a lifetime. for remembrance.

12th Oct - the convocation!
leave T+ hotel and went to aimst at 7am, getting ready. around 9am, the graduands' procession finally started. with the music that will make ur body hair stand up. we were told not to take pic when waiting to enter the great hall to prevent disturbing the smooth flow, but we did anyway. hahaha! ;P




then, finally, it's the grand awesome moment, filled with nervousness (so scared that i was going to fall or do stupid things in front of everyone).
but luckily, it all went smoothly. upon hearing my own name being called, walked confidently toward Dato Seri Utama Dr. Samy Vellu, shaked hand with him, and taken the scroll from him.
really, that is the moment we all have been waiting for! =)






and then, there was endless photo taking session with everyone, my dearest family and batchmates!

i would like to thank my family, especially my parents, for making all this possible.
without you, i won't be able to make it, i won't be able to standing there, on my graduation day, with everything running so smoothly.
my dad, who always supported me financially, be my 人肉ATM, and never say no to my request. this time, he had to buy air ticket for my whole family to go there to attend my convo. and buy the really beautiful roses for me. very expensive too! really touched...
my mom, who always helped me in every way she could, i used to call her almost everyday when i was in Aimst. when i had trouble, she is the one who is more worried than me. 皇上不急太监急。haha!!!
my popo, who always cared and took good care of me! i love her cooking very very much!
my Maomao, who is always the noisiest one in the family. always manja with us, but she is really very cute! when u need her, she can do alot of things too(surprisingly so, as she is the youngest and the princess in the family). haha.
and not forgetting my Wenwen, eventhough she is in UK and couldnt attend my convo. you bad girl. last time when u were in foundation, u promised to attend and send me flowers! mungkir janji. blek! =P
but she is really independent and brave. staying alone in uk. coming bk only once a year for summer holiday. sometimes i feel she looks more like the eldest sister(compared to me). haha. and i like to laugh at her, saying that that's because she looks older than i am.

i am feeling very proud, a small portion is because i have finally completed my BDS course. it was not really easy. gone through a lot highs and downs, and stressful period. i am glad it all became past tense now.
but what makes me feel really very proud of, is having u all as my family. i am not good in expressing my love to you all, but the fact is, i love you all! daddy, mummy, popo, yiyi, wenwen, maomao! thanks for everything! <3 <3 <3
