Paris, the City of Lights and Love
actually Paris was the first city we visited during our Europe tour.
on our first evening, we explored the city on a guided coach tour, where we were shown the sights of the city by our tour leader, Lenka.
she brought us to a place where she said it is the best place to take picture with Eiffel Tower.
but too bad we only had 10-15minutes for pictures. =(
then we saw Sacré-Coeur, a Roman Catholic church, on top of the Montmartre hill.
from there, almost the whole of Paris city view were being captured by our retina!

then the next day was Paris free day! we were really excited about this!
we went back to the landmarks shown to us the day before, to take tons of photo.
Opéra de Paris, Notre Dame Cathedral, Arc de Triomphe... etc...
all these amazing architectures really are indescribable by words. you got to see it by yourselves!!!

not forgetting Galeries Lafayette, where all the world's high end top brands are all in it! LV, Prada... u name it, they have it all there! got the adrenaline boost even though we were just window-shopping.

and of course we went to The Pont des Arts(the lovers bridge), a Parisian bridge where love gets locked forever, with the only key thrown to the bottom of the Seine River. such a beautiful romantic belief. <3
goodbye Paris, the most romantic city, a place where love, romance, art and architecture were all combined and blossomed. it's impossible not to fall in love with it! <3

had lunch at St. Michel, (as recommended by Lenka), quite worth it. 10 euros for a complete full course meal(including starter- mussels with white wine, main course- turkey escalope with cream, and dessert- chocolate mousse!). and we tried cheese fondue there too! mhhmm...yummy-licious~!!!

at night, we took metro to see Eiffel Tower for a closer view.
but after we got down from metro, we got lost in the total opposite direction. walk for few kms away(we even walked past the previous station) and then only realized we have gone to the wrong direction. arghhhh.
so we had to walk all the way down again. >.<
we were so tired and exhausted that time that we decided to just take few photos from a distance and just leave, thats why we didnt get to really get in there and take awesome pics with Eiffel tower. so close yet so far... ='(

luckily, we got the chance to watch Eiffel Tower sparklessss! it's more than awesome! =)
goodbye Paris, the most romantic city, a place where love, romance, art and architecture were all combined and blossomed. it's impossible not to fall in love with it! <3
